Before we start this course, we will first look at what will be covered during the training. The course is divided into categories and within each category are a number of videos. You can pause and re-watch any video on the course. We update our courses regularly and you will be able to see any replacement or new videos as they are released.

This may be an online course but if you have any questions you can still contact us on 01206 805359, email us on support@protrainings.uk or use the online chat facility on any of our sites. More information can also be found at protrainings.uk.

You work through the videos in order and we'll now give you a summary of what will be covered:

Firstly we will look briefly at what diabetes is, and then at some facts, figures and myths that surround it. Then we will look at the science behind diabetes, which will include why our bodies need sugar to function, and what happens if our bodies receive too much or not enough sugar.

After this, we will look more in depth into the different types of diabetes, and what happens when things go wrong. The final category within this course will cover what types of treatment are available, and you will hear first hand from someone living with diabetes.
